This is the Fifth annual event that will recognize the best podcasters in the world by allowing the people (Listeners and Podcasters) to nominate, and then vote for their favorite podcast.

This will culminate with awards and prizes being awarded during the 2009 Online Awards ceremony!.

The nomination submissions start Oct 5, 2008 followed by voting in early October the site will see over 350,000 hits per day based upon 2008 levels.

The Podcast Awards was created and is managed by Podcast Connect Inc. Located at 92-329 Kiowao Place Kapolei Hawaii 96707.

Employees of Podcast Connect are not eligible to participate in the nomination, or voting process. Any Podcast Connect employee that has a podcast is not eligible to participate, any nominations for a Podcast Connect employee podcast will be thrown out. The host of this site is being managed by the CEO of Podcast Connect Inc. Todd Cochrane, and his podcast the Geek News Central Podcast is not eligible.
